Florida's Top 2015 Target

Andrew Fleming, one of the best shooting guards in the class of 2015, visited Florida while on vacation recently. "They want me to commit very badly and they want me to be their first 2015 commit. " Fleming told me. He only has one offer, it is from Florida. The Tennessee native likes the fact that he is a priority to Billy Donovan and his staff. Fleming plays for M33M, an AAU team sponsored by former Florida star Mike Miller. I don't believe he will commit anytime soon, but he will be an outstanding player anywhere.

Small Talk With David Broach

David Broach is another talented player from the state of Texas. Hear is my conversation with the 2015 point guard:
Joseph Thompson: Who is interested in you?
David Broach: Arkansas, Arizona, Northern Kentucky, and some D2s.
JT: Do you have any offers?
DB: No, Not Yet. I'm hoping to pick some up in the upcoming season.
JT: What teams did you grow up watching?
DB: College wise, I always went to Texas games. My grandparents live in Austin and they're huge Texas fans. I also watched Georgetown and North Carolina.
JT: Who would you compare your game to?
DB: I've been compared to Russell Westbrook multiple times because of my quickness and ability to jump so high.
JT: What are you looking for in an NCAA program?
DB: A good coaching staff, a good environment, and an excellent academic program.
JT: Do you have any visits planned?
DB: Not yet because of my busy schedule. I will have one planned for Christmas or Spring break.
JT: You play with Elijah Thomas (#7 overall by ESPN) and Austin Grandstaff (Tons of high major interest) at Rockwall. What is it like playing them?
DB: It's actually a great experience. Playing with top players since middle school, but it is more than just on the court. We've been friends for 6 years so the feeling is like a brotherhood, like a family.

2014 SG Mitchell Visits Georgia

Devin Mitchell, a 2014 shooting guard from Suwanee, Georgia, was in Athens recently to check out Georgia's campus. Mitchell said he "loved" the visit. "Coach Fox is really cool and he is a really good coach" the stand out at Collins Hill High told me. He picked up a Georgia offer along with several others after an amazing July that included a game in which hit nailed nine threes. "The staff ran thing so professionally. That's what stood out to me the most." Mitchell is one of the many talented 2014 players in the state of Georgia and has a bright future.

2015 PG Morris Visits Depaul, Northwestern, and Notre Dame

Morris on Notre Dame visit

Jake Morris, a 2015 point guard, recently visited Notre Dame, Depaul, and Northwestern unofficially.

Morris said that he "really got a feel for each one."

The standout point guard liked Depaul's campus and the area around it, but the fact that they play their games off campus and not many students attend was a turn off to Morris.

Morris loves Northwestern's academics. The coaches, neighborhood, and fans appealed to him.

The Notre Dames was "great." Morris met the players on the team and they were encouraging to him.

Morris doesn't have any offers yet, but he should pick some up soon considering the fact that he is one of the top point guards in the class of 2015. Vanderbilt is  one of several schools interested in Morris.
